Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026 ยท Version: 1.2

This policy explains what personal data Kumba Media B.V. (trading as Stressless Dogs) collects about you, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.

1. WHO WE ARE

Kumba Media B.V., Westerstraat 158-2, 1015 MP Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 42159150

VAT number: NL869974245B01

Email: amee@stresslessdogs.com

We are the controller of your personal data, which means we decide why and how it is processed. If you have any question about this policy, email amee@stresslessdogs.com. We reply within 5 working days.

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

Information you give us

โ€ข Your name and email address when you register for a webinar or buy from us.

โ€ข Billing details when you buy. Your card details go directly to our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.

โ€ข Anything you write to us in an email, in a webinar chat, in a live Q&A, or in our online community, including photos and videos of your dog if you choose to share them.

โ€ข Your mobile number, if you ask us to send you webinar reminders by text message.

Information we collect automatically

โ€ข How you use our website and course platform: pages viewed, lessons opened, progress through the course, and whether you attended or watched a webinar.

โ€ข Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address.

โ€ข Data collected through cookies and similar technologies. See section 6.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16, and our products are not aimed at them.

3. WHY WE USE IT, AND ON WHAT BASIS

To deliver what you bought: giving you access to the course and community, providing support, and handling refunds. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

To take payment and keep proper records: processing payments, issuing invoices, and meeting our tax obligations. Legal basis: performance of our contract, and compliance with a legal obligation.

To send you marketing emails about our courses and offers, where you have asked for them or where you are an existing customer and we are telling you about similar products. Legal basis: your consent, or our legitimate interest in marketing to existing customers. You can unsubscribe from any email, at any time, using the link in it.

To run and improve our website and advertising: understanding which pages and adverts work, and measuring conversions. Legal basis: your consent for non-essential cookies and tracking, and our legitimate interest in running our business.

To keep our services secure and to deal with disputes or legal claims. Legal basis: our legitimate interest, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We do not sell your personal data.

We share it with service providers who help us run the business, and only for that purpose:

โ€ข Payment and checkout providers, who process your order and payment.

โ€ข Our course and community platform provider, who hosts your access and your posts.

โ€ข Our webinar platform provider, who runs the live sessions and their chat.

โ€ข Our text message provider (Twilio), who delivers the webinar reminders you asked for by text message.

โ€ข Our email marketing provider, who sends the emails you have signed up for.

โ€ข Analytics and advertising providers, including Google and Meta, where you have consented to tracking. See section 6.

โ€ข Our customer support team, part of which may be located outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. See section 5.

โ€ข Our accountants and, where necessary, our legal advisers.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Text message reminders. If you give us your mobile number to receive webinar reminders by text message, we use it only to send you the messages you asked for: a confirmation and up to three reminders per webinar, with your personal link to join. Message frequency varies per webinar, and message and data rates may apply. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP.

5. SENDING DATA OUTSIDE THE UK AND EUROPE

Some of our service providers, and part of our customer support team, are located outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, in countries that have not been formally recognised as providing an equivalent level of data protection.

Where that happens we do not rely on the local law alone. We put a data transfer agreement in place with the recipient, based on the standard data protection clauses approved for this purpose (the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum), and we carry out an assessment of the risks of that transfer before it starts.

If you are in Australia, we remain accountable for the handling of your data by any overseas recipient under Australian Privacy Principle 8.

You can ask us for more detail about a specific transfer, including a copy of the safeguards, by emailing amee@stresslessdogs.com.

6. COOKIES AND TRACKING

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website.

Essential cookies make the site and the checkout work. They cannot be switched off.

Analytics and advertising cookies help us understand how people find and use our site, and let us measure and target our advertising. These include Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API, and TikTok. Some of this measurement happens on our own server rather than in your browser, but it is still tracking, and we treat it that way: we only do it where you have consented.

We ask for your consent before we set any non-essential cookie or send any tracking data. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the cookie settings on our site, and you can also block cookies in your browser.

7. WEBINARS, LIVE SESSIONS AND THE COMMUNITY

Our webinars and live Q&A sessions are recorded, and the recordings may be made available to other participants and to future customers.

If you type in a webinar chat, ask a question in a live session, or post in our community, other participants can see what you write. Please do not share anything there that you would not want others to read.

We keep webinar chat and Q&A content for as long as we need it to answer your question and to make the recording useful to other members. Tell us if you want a specific post or question removed and we will do it where we reasonably can.

8. AUTOMATED PROCESSING AND AI

We use software, including artificial intelligence, to help us run our customer support and our community.

When you email us, an automated system reads your message and prepares a suggested reply. A person reviews and sends it. We do this so that we can answer you quickly and consistently.

Inside our community, we may use similar tools to help answer common questions and to point you to the right lesson.

Two things we want to be clear about. First, these systems support our team; they do not make decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Second, you can always ask to deal with a person instead, by saying so in your message.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running our support efficiently, and performance of our contract with you.

9. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

โ€ข Customer and order records: seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it.

โ€ข Course and community accounts: for as long as your account is open, and up to two years afterwards.

โ€ข Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, and then a minimal record so that we do not email you again by mistake.

โ€ข Webinar registrations from people who never bought: two years.

โ€ข Website analytics: up to 26 months.

Where we no longer need data, we delete it or make it anonymous.

10. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your data. In most cases you can:

โ€ข ask for a copy of the data we hold about you;

โ€ข ask us to correct it if it is wrong;

โ€ข ask us to delete it;

โ€ข ask us to restrict or stop certain processing;

โ€ข object to processing we base on our legitimate interests;

โ€ข ask us to transfer your data to another provider; and

โ€ข withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, email amee@stresslessdogs.com. We reply within 5 working days and will deal with your request within one month. We do not charge for this.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to your national regulator:

โ€ข United Kingdom: Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk

โ€ข Netherlands and the EU: Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, or your own national authority

โ€ข Australia: Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, oaic.gov.au

โ€ข New Zealand: Office of the Privacy Commissioner, privacy.org.nz

โ€ข Canada: Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, priv.gc.ca

We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

11. SECURITY

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted connections. No online service can be completely secure, but if a breach occurs that is likely to put you at risk, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as the law requires.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. If we make a significant change we will tell you by email.
